Uorfi Javed is a social media sensation well-known for her bold fashion choices. She is also a television actress popular for her work in the entertainment industry. Over the years, Uorfi has appeared in various TV shows and even made her Bollywood debut with the film Love Sex Aur Dhokha 2. Recently, Uorfi opened up about the challenges she faced in her career and shared how she was replaced on shows.
In an interview with Filmy Gyaan, Uorfi Javed opened up about her struggles in the television industry and revealed how her journey has not been a cakewalk. Uorfi shared that her journey in the industry has not been smooth as she was either replaced from every show she was doing, or the show would go off air. Uorfi said:

"Haan matlab pata nahi kya nasur padi hui thi us time pe, jis bhi show mein jaati, 3-4 mahine mein replace ho jati, ya woh show hi bandh hojata. I mean, I don't know, bahut politics bhi chalti hai andar hi andar. It was not like I was not able to act; if that was the case, why did you take me in the show?"

Speaking along the same lines, Uorfi Javed revealed that she was asked to give the channel a 20 per cent cut from her pay. However, she didn't agree to the condition. Later, when the shooting began, she was made to do 20 retakes and was told that she was unable to perform. In her words:
"Ek show main kar rahi thi toh mujhe ek call aaya kisi bande ka, mujhe kaha ke aap ko channel walo ko 20 percent dena hoga, maine kaha nahi nahi main nahi de rahi. So, in that show, they made me do 20 retakes and then told me that I was unable to perform."
The demanding work conditions made Uorfi realise that something was fishy. However, despite these challenges, she continued to pursue her passion for acting, until she was replaced from the show. So, Uorfi confronted the makers and asked them why they cast her in the show after taking 100 auditions. In her words:
"Then they replaced me. And I was like, this is very fishy. Just because I refused to give 20 per cent, I was replaced. Otherwise, toh, aapne mere 100 auditions liye toh phir mujhe yaha kyu leke aaye ho. Par, dheere dheere then main samajh gayi that rejection has nothing to do with me personally."

In the same interview, Uorfi was asked if the attitude of people changed towards her during the course of her journey. Responding to it, the actress shared that the people who once rejected her have now been trying to contact her as she has gained popularity. Adding that she did not have any kind of animosity with anyone, Uorfi said:
"Nahi, aisi kisi se enmity nahi thi, bilkul dushman koi abhi dosti ka haath bada raha hai aisa kuch nahi hai. Haan, ek do log hai jin se kabhi baat nahi hui and they message me saying, 'I am proud of you,' and I am like, why? We never spoke; itne saal baad, why you proud of me? We have nothing to do with each other."
