Popular actress, Uorfi Javed needs no introduction. She is the undisputed DIY queen who never shies away from flaunting her bold fashion choices. Uorfi is well known for her quirky fashion experiments, and each look of hers breaks the internet in no time. Now, she has become a reality show star with Amazon Prime Video's Follow Kar Lo Yaar. The unscripted show unveiled the never-seen-before side of Uorfi and her family.

In an interview with Zoom, Uorfi Javed's mother, Zakiya Sultana, reacted to her daughter getting trolled and receiving death threats. She also broke her silence on how Uorfi is mocked for her unconventional sartorial choices. Mrs Sultana mentioned that trolls targeting Uorfi bothered her initially, but now she has started ignoring social media negativity. She said:

"It would affect me in the beginning, but then I got used to it. I don't read the comments anymore. There are all kinds of people in the world. Everyone can say whatever they want to. We cannot change them. That's fine. If the world has positive people, there are haters too. Otherwise, how will a person be inspired? How will someone move forward?"

Urfi Javed's mom on daughters starting careers at an early age

Uorfi Javed and her sisters began their careers at an early age. Speaking about how her daughters took up responsibilities early in life, Zakiya Sultana shared that they're independent enough to choose their paths, and she tries her level best to motivate and encourage them. She added:

"The situation was such that they had to do it. They're independent enough to choose their paths and do what they wish to. As a mother, it was my duty to motivate them and encourage them to not let hardships get to their dedication. If you fail today, you will rise tomorrow. That's how life goes on."

When Uorfi Javed talked about how the trolls affect her

Earlier, in a conversation with Ranveer Allahbadia, Uorfi Javed talked about her childhood days and shared that she had no friends. However, talking about the current scenario, Uorfi revealed that once every three months, she gets affected by the trolling. She also mentioned that she thinks that people are right when they say that she is a stain on society and a bad example for the younger generation. Elaborating on the same, the actress shared that she can’t quit now, and even if she does, what happens will always be on the internet. She also stated that maybe no one would accept her, and no family would make her a part of their house.

After enduring constant physical and mental abuse from her father and relatives for two years, Uorfi decided that she couldn't take it any longer, so one day, she just ran away at the age of 17. She began tutoring kids in Lucknow, then worked in a call centre for some time in Delhi before finally shifting to Mumbai. She gave a few auditions and landed some roles. However, it was only after her participation in Bigg Boss OTT that she garnered the limelight for her bold outfit choices in public places.
