Uorfi Javed Recalls She Was Treated Badly On Television Sets, Says 'Bohot Gandi Halat Thi Meri..'

Uorfi Javed has made a huge name for herself over the past few years, courtesy of her unique dressing style. The Bigg Boss OTT diva has worked hard on herself and her out-of-the-box outfits. Apart from her bold dressing, Uorfi is known for her bluntness. She knows how to give back to trollers and people who give her moral lessons. Recently, Uorfi shared her experience of working in television, and it wasn't a pleasant one.

Uorfi Javed shared her experience of working in television

Recently, in an interview with Bollywood Bubble, Uorfi Javed was asked about her experience working in the television industry. She instantly called it 'not a good one'. Further describing her journey in TV, she revealed that if you are not the lead actress, then there are a lot of difficulties and they do not treat you nicely. She added people misbehave and badly treated her. She was quoted as saying:

"See, if you aren’t the lead – I was a side character in the show, then there are difficulties; they do not treat you nicely at all. Kuch kuch sets pe bohot badtameezi karte hai, kutto ke tarah treat karte hai. Bohot ganda treatment hota hai. Kuch production house bohot bekar hai yaar. Why lie?”

Uorfi also talked about the payment delay on television. She stated that they give late payments, and, at times, they deduct it. She called the industry not nice for a person playing a side character and claimed that they made her cry a lot. She said: 

"Bohot late karte the, kaat bhi lete the. Bohot harami log hai industry mein. Bohot gandi halat thi meri TV mein kaam karke kyuki main side character karti thi toh meri koi aukaat bhi nahi thi. Bohot rulate hai."

When Uorfi Javed was bashed by a random man at the airport

While Uorfi's look has started pleasing the fans, the diva once got brutally trolled. Last year, Uorfi was papped in a backless strappy green-hued dress at the airport. While she was interacting with the paps, a random man passed a mean comment. The man told Uorfi, "Allowed nahi hai aisa kapda, haa, India kaa naam kharab hota hai." This left Uorfi in anger, she yelled, "Toh aapke baap ka kuch jaa raha hai, nahi jaa raha hai na." The man didn't stop here, and said, "Yeh galat hai, India ka naam kharab hota hai." 

Uorfi felt bad as this was unexpected. She asked the man if she is his daughter and told him to do his work. She said:

"Teri beti hoon mai, aapna kaam kar."
