On Dec 28, 2021, Urfi Javed took to her Instagram handle and shared a series of pictures from her latest photoshoot, and she looked stunning in them. However, this time, it wasn't about her looks, as Urfi penned a sad note in the caption, recalling her dark past and revealing how she had once decided to end her life. The model opened up about her failed relationships, unconvincing career, and being financially weak. She had written:
"You know how many times I've failed? I can't even count now! A few times in my life I've felt like the only way to get out of this mess is to end my life. My life was seriously fucked up. Failed career, failed relationships, no money made me feel like a loser who doesn't deserve to live. I still don't have a lot of money, successful career and I'm still single but I have hope. The only reason I'm alive today (trust me there have been so many incidents in my life which nearly killed me ) is because I never stopped. I kept walking and I'm still walking. I may not be where I want to be but at least I'm on the way. Some pep talk before the year ends! Get up , fight , repeat. You're stronger than the situations around you."

Earlier, in an interview with ETimes, Urfi Javed was asked to recall when she had decided to run away from her house at a very young age to become an actress. Answering this, Urfi clearly stated that she didn't have any other option left in her hands at that time, which is why she had to take the risk of running away from her family. Talking about her brave move, she said:
"I did not have an option but to leave my house at a young age. If I would have had an option, I would not have run away from my home. I would have enjoyed my father's money. Main apne papa ke paise udaa rahi hoti agar mere paas option hota toh. Whatever jobs small, big I got I had to just do them to survive because I didn't have money."
