Speaking about childhood sweethearts, Varun Dhawan and Natasha Dalal, even though they have been extremely private about the details of their relationship, the lovebirds don’t shy away from making public appearances. Constantly, there have been speculations about Varun and Natasha’s wedding, and time and again there have been reports about dates or destinations for their alleged marriage. Despite Varun denying such conjectures, the rumours don’t seem to fade away.
If the latest reports are to be believed, Varun Dhawan and Natasha Dalal’s wedding has been pushed to 2020, and sources claim that the lovebirds are already engaged! A source close to Varun and Natasha revealed to The Times Of India, "Varun and Natasha exchanged rings and got engaged in a hush-hush ceremony in 2018. It was an extremely private ceremony with only members of the family present on the occasion. Varun is crazy about Natasha and given the fact that he’s one of the biggest stars in the business the wedding will be a high profile event."
Sometime back, Varun Dhawan’s father and Bollywood’s No. 1 director, David Dhawan had refuted the reports about his son’s wedding. Calling the reports as ‘bogus’, David ji had said, "This news is absolutely bogus. No truth in it at all. My son is shooting for Remo D’Souza’s film. Then he starts shooting for my film. There is no question of a wedding this year. If it happens, it will happen next year, not before that. I would like to see him get married. But you think he will listen to me? He can come anytime and announce he’s getting married. My wife and I have to get up and start preparing."
Clarifying the reports yet again, a few days ago, David Dhawan had stated, "It’s just not true. I am tired of denying these reports over and over again. I know everybody is eager to see Varun married; so am I. We all in the family would be happy when he gets married. Shaadi hogi khoob dhoom-dhaam se. But let’s not make up the dates and venues for the wedding. We will officially announce the wedding with all the details when it happens."
