Malaika Arora's entire world came crashing down on September 11, 2024, after her father, Anil Arora's untimely demise. The news came as a shock, and police revealed that Anil Arora died by suicide as he had jumped from the terrace of his Bandra residence in Mumbai. His daughter, Malaika Arora and Amrita Arora, came rushing down after hearing the news. Still, the way photographers have been covering the sensitive matter has left the industry upset, and Varun Dhawan is one of them who voiced his opinion.

Varun Dhawan lashed out at photographers for pointing cameras at the grieving family's face

While death is the ultimate truth, it is not easy to accept, and people try to avoid the mention of it. However, things get extremely difficult when a loved one dies by suicide. It becomes difficult for the family to handle the situation, and Malaika and Amrita have been going through the same, as their father, Anil Arora, passed away in a tragic turn of events.

On top of it, the way paparazzi have been stationed outside their home and recording every person is heartbreaking, especially the way they ran to click Malaika and Amrita, who rushed to their parents' home after hearing the news. Varun Dhawan was quick to call the photographers out. He expressed how insensitive they had become by pointing cameras on a grieving person's face.

Varun further highlighted how paparazzi are not even thinking what the person must be going through when they are putting the camera right at their faces in this sensitive time. He wrote:

"It is the most insensitive thing to point cameras in the face of people who are grieving. Please think what you people are doing or what someone is going through when you do this. I understand it is work, but sometimes another human might not be okay with this."

Malaika Arora's mother, Joyce Polycarp shared the details of her husband, Anil Arora's demise

The entire industry is shaken by the news of Malaika's father, Anil's death. Anil Arora, who was divorced from his wife, Joyce Polycarp, when Malaika was just 11-year-old, started living together a few years ago in the same flat in Bandra. The family would often come together for family dinners. As per the reports, Joyce, in her statement, revealed that she had been living with Anil for the last few years.

Talking about the incident, Joyce revealed that her ex-husband, Anil, had no illness except knee pain (due to old age). She further shared that she found Anil's slippers in the living room and then went to look from his outside. However, when she was not able to find him, she leaned from the balcony and saw the watchman screaming for help. Currently, police have been investigating the matter. 

Malaika Arora's father had been battling depression 

While the family is mourning Anil's step to end his life, a report in Zoom claimed that Malaika's father jumped from the third floor of his residence. Sources close to him revealed he was battling depression. He had been unwell for almost a year. Last year, Anil Arora was also admitted to the hospital in Mumbai. As soon as the news came out, it was Arbaaz Khan, who rushed to his ex-wife, Malaika's home to be with the family.
