The actor has always been outspoken about his opinion on Bollywood trends. An old clip of the actor is going viral now that features one of his interviews with Komal Nahta. However, his statement on the attempt of actors to get favourable media coverage has caught the attention of fans.
The trolling, criticism, publicity, and online media coverage often impact the direction of an actor's career. However, Varun Dhawan revealed that many actors often pay media to post positive articles about themselves. He said it's easy to put out paid articles online, and everyone knows that actors pay for positive coverage. He was quoted as saying:
“If actors want positive articles to come out on them on the internet, how easy it is to do it in today's age. When one can put out fake numbers, they can put out fake articles too. Everyone knows that actors buy it themselves, you can put out articles and people do it regularly. Also, I am gonna come in a lot of trouble for saying this.”

According to him, the real stars in Bollywood were Rajesh Khanna, Amitabh Bachchan, Salman Khan, and Shah Rukh Khan. So, the tag shouldn't be given away easily to anyone.
