Recently, Varun Dhawan graced the trailer launch event of his niece, Anjini Dhawan’s debut film, Binny and Family. Talking at the event, Varun revealed that he gets scolded by everyone at his home. He said that he feels it weird that he gets scolded by his parents and joked that when he goes to his daughter's room, the little one also scolds him, followed by his wifey, Natasha. So, everyone at his home scolds him, leaving him wondering what is his position at home. Varun can be quoted as saying:

"Thoda ajeeb lagta hai ki mummy papa ne abhi abhi daanta hai aur phir baby ke room mein aate hi bacchi bhi daant rahi hai aur phir biwi bhi daant ti hai. Toh, uss waqt aap sochte ho position kya hai ghar mein.”
On June 3, 2024, when David Dhawan was spotted outside the Hinduja hospital, and he revealed the birth of little Lakshmi in their house. He had written that his dad had taught him that the best way to celebrate Fathers' Day, is by going out and working for the family, and he would be doing the same. Varun also added that he couldn't be anymore happier than to be a father to a baby girl.
