Bollywood star, Alia Bhatt and filmmaker, Karan Johar have earned a special place in the hearts of audiences, developing their careers through effort over the years. Director, Vasan Bala recently talked about their paths, pointing out that their success comes from steady hard work.
In a conversation with VOA India, Vasan Bala talked about Karan Johar's achievements. He explained that Karan's position in the industry was not a gift. It wasn't handed to him. He earned his reputation by creating some very successful Indian cinema. He observed that a lot of work and money goes into a film, showing the hard-earned status not only of the stars but also of the producers.
Karan not only received fame, but he shaped his way by producing huge, successful films and gaining his place. He has earned this for his accomplishments in Bollywood. In Vasan Bala's words:
“Karan ko virasat mein nahi mili hai (Karan did not get this in his inheritance); he has made the biggest blockbusters and earned this position for himself.”
Vasan Bala also talked about Alia Bhatt , praising her for showing great skill in different roles and achieving many popular movies. Vasan mentioned that her achievements come from ten years of hard work. The director stressed that box office results carry importance because filmmaking costs a lot. He added that both Alia Bhatt and Karan Johar are established because of their hard work that is paying them off over the past decade. In his words:
"Both Karan and Alia Bhatt built their reputations through hard earned success."
Bala talked about the Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani star's real personality and said Alia is very intuitive. She noted that the word 'wise' best suits her. Alia doesn't think too much about her parts. She reacts naturally and follows her instincts, even in important roles.

Meanwhile, on the job side, Alia Bhatt is busy with her next project, Alpha . Shiv Rawail directs it and Sharvari plays a role too. This movie is the seventh in the YRF Spy Universe. It will probably open in cinemas on Christmas, December 25, 2025. Alia Bhatt will also be featured in Love & War, directed by Sanjay Leela Bhansali, where she will share the screen with Ranbir Kapoor and Vicky Kaushal.
