Apart from his professional life, he is in the news because of his personal life as well. Media reports are claiming that Vicky is not single anymore and has been taken by Television actress and hostess, Harleen Sethi. Of course, neither has gone on record to accept or deny their relationship but social media speak of a different story that something mushy is definitely between the two. The trailer of Harleen's web series with Vikrant Massey, Broken But Beautiful, was released and Vicky took to his Instagram stories and shared the following post. As you can see, he has written, “mere do anmol ratan” atop it.
This is the first time, Vicky has posted anything related to Harleen or has given any kind of acknowledgement that there is some special bond between the two. Of course, it doesn’t mean any confirmation on part of their relationship status.
Recently, during the music launch of the series, Harleen admitted to being in love. She also shared that she fell in love during the shooting of the series. Now, this left everyone confused as to who she is dating.
During the promotions of his last film, Manmarziyaan, Vicky took out some time from his busy schedule and went on a lunch date with Harleen. While Vicky happily posed for the shutterbugs, one could spot Harleen hurrying away towards her car. This is was the time when reports of their alleged relationship started surfacing everywhere.
In a recent interview with The Indian Express, the Masaan fame actor shared his views on relationships and said, “I don’t believe in the relationship of convenience, personally. I am an introvert, not that much now after getting into acting, but in a relationship sense. I believe in becoming friends first and in knowing each other. It is a very old school way of getting into a relationship, even if it is a love at first sight. Relationship of convenience has never happened to me, so I cannot talk much about it. In the film, we have explored both – negative and positive side – of being in such a relationship.” (Suggested Read: Deepika Padukone's Mangalsutra Is Worth 20 Lakh, Solitaire Design Is Simple And Elegant, Pic Inside)

On being asked about his marriage plans, Vicky revealed that he feels positive about the institution of marriage and replied, “Well, I have asked my parents for 3-4 years. I am just 29 after all and have a career to make. But I feel very positive about the institution of marriage. Laddu abhi khaya nahi phir bhi laddu toh laddu hi lagega. But I feel it always work as a strength to have a companion in life who you can depend on. I like the thought of it. Jab Shaadi karunga tab ek aur interview karunga and I will tell you if marriage is La La Land.”
In a recent interview with the Hindustan Times, Vicky revealed that his greatest FOMO (fear of missing out) is not being on a film set. He shared, “For me, being on the film sets is like being in paradise. There’s a kind of satisfaction when I am on the set. That happiness can’t be described in words. I feel privileged to be able to be present on the film set and to keep working. There was a time when I had really knocked on doors to be on the film set, stood in queues for hours behind 150 people to land a role. There were quite a number of rejections, too. So, now I can’t crib when, at times, I have to wait for even three hours to shoot for my scenes.”
On the professional front, Vicky has finished the shooting of Uri, and has already signed Karan Johar’s next, Takht. During the interview with HT, Vicky said, “Working with Karan Johar is a dream come true for me. Also, I have been craving to be a part of a period film. The world that once existed always fascinates me. Though Karan will hate me for saying this, I am still saying it on record that when Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham (2001) released I was in 10th standard and it’s my all-time favourite film.” (You May Like: Nick Jonas Reveals The Time When He Lost To Muse Priyanka Chopra, Says She Is A Little Competitive)
