Bollywood actor, Vicky Kaushal is currently busy promoting his film, Bad Newz, alongside Triptii Dimri and Ammy Virk. The handsome hunk has already wowed fans with his dance moves in the hit song, Tauba Tauba, and they have been waiting to see him on the big screen. Amid all this, Vicky sat for a candid conversation and spoke about his love story with his wife, Katrina Kaif.
In a recent interview with Raj Shamani, Vicky Kaushal fondly recalled his first meeting with Katrina Kaif at an award show, where he proposed to her on the stage as part of a performance. Mentioning that their relationship was meant to be, the actor shared some exciting details about it. When Vicky was asked if he was nervous about meeting Katrina for the first time, he said:

“No, I wasn’t! We met at an award. I was hosting the event. We met backstage before appearing on the stage. That was the first time I introduced myself to her and she introduced herself to me.”

Vicky Kaushal also shared that his and Katrina Kaif's relationship grew organically, and their first few meetings were unplanned. He added that though they had each other's numbers and would randomly bump into each other, the first time they spoke was during an interview on camera. However, when things started happening against all the odds, they stopped questioning everything. Vicky said:
“First few times, nothing was planned ki hum milne ka plan kar rahe hain ya hum baat kar rahe hain. The first time we ever spoke to each other was a part of an interview while the cameras were rolling. Of course, we had each other’s number and we would randomly bump into each other. Aisa kuch nahin tha. I think, some things are just meant to happen. Sometimes you realise that it is happening against all odds and that’s how it happened. After a point we stopped questioning and analysing it, and became committed to it.”
Vicky Kaushal also talked about his way of dealing with grief in life and explained how he handles his emotions and problems in daily life. He mentioned that he prefers to think through issues calmly on his own whenever he is upset, but he can not take the same approach while being with Katrina. Vicky said:
“When angry or sad, I need isolation and process these emotions in solitude and rationally think about it. However, when it comes to Katrina, I don’t take the same approach.”

Speaking along the same lines, Vicky mentioned that his wife, Katrina likes to discuss issues immediately and wants to sort it out. He admitted they both can’t sleep after a fight or argument and also admired Katrina’s emotional intelligence. The Sam Bahadur actor concluded:
“We both can’t sleep if we have had a fight or argument. She wants to engage. That’s naturally her style, and mine is completely opposite, which is why I feel we beautifully fill each other’s gaps. I am the most rational guy and she is the most sensitive person. Her emotional intelligence is amazing. Woh bahot khatarnak hai and I always trust on that, aur mera bahot katttar practical, rational dimag hai.”
