Sunny Kaushal is Vicky Kaushal's younger brother, and recently, the former sat for an interview with Bollywood Hungama. Herein, Sunny revealed that Vicky was labelled as the most desirable man once by his fans. After the announcement, their mother mocked Vicy over his weight gain and said:

Sunny explained that Vicky had gained weight due to binge eating pizzas and ice cream at that moment. He had a protruding belly, and his mother did not bat an eye before giving him a reality check. Sunny then had a hearty laugh over the incident.
Once, in an old interview with Film Companion, Vicky Kaushal recalled the time when he got extremely frustrated as things weren't working in the right direction. The actor revealed that he had tried almost everything but was still struggling to get a break, and it was when his mother told him something that motivated him. Sharing what his mother, Veena Kaushal, told him, the actor revealed that she advised him, 'Don't try to become God'. He said:
"It's not your job to know how it's going to happen. Your job is to have faith that it's going to happen. The 'how' part of it… don't try to become God. You can plan it, but don't kill yourself over it. She just said it nonchalantly, but it gave me a lot of power at that time."

Recently, the Raazi actor appeared on Neha Dhupia's talk show, No Filter Neha, where he candidly shared much about his professional life and marital life with Katrina Kaif. Vicky didn't hold back when asked to recall the 'most embarrassing web search' he has made to date. He shared:
"My most embarrassing search history has been Vicky Kaushal. Randomly, when I get bored, I'll search for Vicky Kaushal, but nothing too interesting comes up. I then tell myself, 'I won't do this again in my life'."
