Vijay Varma is one of the most talented actors in Bollywood. He is currently busy promoting his upcoming series, IC 814: The Kandahar Hijack. Directed by Anubhav Sinha, the Netflix project also stars Naseeruddin Shah, Pankaj Kapur, and Dia Mirza in the lead roles. Recently, in an interview, Vijay Varma spoke about his skin condition, vitiligo, in which the skin loses colour or some pigment in patches.
In an interview with The Times Of India, Vijay Varma shared that he suffers from vitiligo but never made a big deal out of his skin condition. He shared that he used to get worried if this would become an obstacle in his acting journey. However, when he started seeing success in life, it stopped bothering him. Vijay said:

"See, I didn't make a big deal out of it. It is just a cosmetic thing, and it is not really anything that can change the course of your life. We make it a big deal because it is something which is out there. It used to worry me when I was an out-of-work actor. I would wonder if this would become an obstacle. But ever since I have been working and seeing a lot of success, it hasn't bothered me."
Speaking along the same lines, Vijay shared that he used to cover up his skin for his films as he wanted his audience to see only what he wanted to show them. However, he never bothered to cover them up during his public appearances, as people are smart enough these days. He added:
"I have covered it up for my movies because it just distracts, and I don't want my audience to look at anything else except for what I want to show them, so that is the reason I hide it. But for all my public appearances, for all these years, I have never bothered to cover it up. People these days are very intelligent, and I feel that today's generation has an innate sense of responsibility. I have never been spoken about loosely for my skin condition. Maybe if it was some other time, then this could have possibly become a topic of discussion."
Vijay Varma and Tamannaah Bhatia are among the most sought-after couples in Tinseltown. For the unversed, the duo reportedly fell in love during the shooting of their film, Lust Stories 2. But they managed to keep the buzz under wraps for the longest time. However, a clip of the duo from one of their New Year parties in 2023 got leaked on the internet, wherein they were seen sharing a passionate kiss with one another. Later, both Tamannaah and Vijay confessed to dating one another.
Earlier, Vijay Varma opened up about his relationship with his girlfriend, Tamannaah and shared why they chose to make their relationship public, unlike other celebrity couples in the industry. During a conversation with Shubhankar Mishra on his YouTube talk show, Unplugged, Vijay revealed that he and Tamannaah were sure that they liked each other and wanted to spend more time together. He mentioned that he never wanted to be caged and said:

"I think we were both aligned on the fact that if we like to spend time together and if we like each other, then there is no need to hide this. It takes a lot of effort to hide a relationship. You cannot go out together, your friends cannot click your photos. I don’t like such restrictions. It wasn’t like I wanted to be out there, but I just didn’t want to be caged. I didn’t want to cage my feelings."
