Vikas Sethi was among the most memorable faces of the entertainment industry who not only nailed every character in all our television screens but also made an impact in films with his acting prowess. Although Vikas wasn't very active in the past few years, his fans never forgot about him. He was last seen in the 2019 Telugu film, iSmart Shankar. However, the recent news of his death left all his friends, family and fans in utter shock who couldn't believe that a young soul like him passed away that soon. For the unversed, Vikas was only 48 years old.

Vikas Sethi was initially married to a cabin crew, Amita and together, they participated in Nach Baliye, but things didn't work out amid the duo, and they split. The couple did not talk much about their divorce, but soon after, Vikas met Jhanvi in 2017 via their common friends.
Vikas and Jhanvi instantly hit it off and soon started dating. The duo gradually fell in love and, after a year, decided to get engaged. Vikas once shared that he and Jhanvi had a lot in common, which helped them to build a friendship, which was the most significant factor in their relationship. In Vikas' words:
"I met Jhanvi through a common friend last April. We hit it off instantly and started spending a lot of time together. We both love outdoor activities and have a lot in common. Friendship, I believe, is the foundation of a good marriage. Who better than your best friend to be your partner? I asked her to marry me, and she accepted my proposal. She is a very positive person and has brought about stability in my life."
In 2018 Vikas and Jhanvi got engaged on January 21, 2018, and a month later, on February 21, 2018, they tied the knot. Their wedding was a close-knit ceremony hosted in Gurudwara amid the presence of their close family and friends. Also, Jhanvi has also married earlier, and her marriage with Vikas was even her second chance at love.

A few years later, Vikas and Jhanvi embraced parenthood. The duo welcomed twin boys on June 21, 2021, and the couple was over the moon. Vikas was 45 years old when he embraced fatherhood, and he, in an interview with ETimes, shared that although he was very anxious about his age, his wife and mother were his driving force who were excited for this new beginning of his life. Vikas further added:
"I was a little anxious about becoming a parent at this age, but Jhanvi has been the driving force behind it. When my mother got to know that we are going to be blessed with wins, she was dancing with joy. She has waited for a long time to be addressed as dadi."
Vikas Sethi talked about his relationship with his wife, Jhanvi, and revealed that his wife is very cute and that they are still best friends. He couldn't tavel anywhere without her and need her to accompany him. In his words:
"She is my Monica. And she is very cute. Even today we are best friends, more than husband-wife. Wherever I go, she she accompanies me, I need her. I cannot travel without her. I buy her tickets on my own and she comes along."
Vikas Sethi passed away on September 8, 2024, leaving behind his wife and twin sons.
