Vikas Sethi's Last Rites: Mother Breaks Down Seeing His 'Parthiv Sharir', Hiten Tejwani Pays Respect

Famous television actor, Vikas Sethi rose to fame with shows like Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi, Kahiin To Hoga, and Sasusral Simar Ka. He was loved for his diverse roles on the small screen. However, the entire nation was left shocked on September 8, 2024, when news of his sudden demise surfaced on the internet. At the age of 48, Vikas Sethi passed away in his sleep following a cardiac arrest.

Vikas Sethi's last rites 

On September 9, 2024, Vikas Sethi's last rites were performed in Mumbai. For those who don't know, Vikas Sethi and his wife, Jhanvi, were in Nashik to attend a family wedding where his health deteriorated and had loose motions. He passed away in sleep during the night. Now, we stumbled upon a video of Vikas's parthvi sharir, and his mother breaking down witnessing the last rites of her son.

We also spotted Hiten Tejwani and several other actors attending the last rites. Vikas Sethi is survived by his wife, Jhanvi, whom he married in 2018. In 2021, they welcomed their twin babies.

Vikas Sethi's wife, Jhanvi Sethi talked about his last moments

In an interview with the PTI, Vikas's wife, Jhanvi revealed that she had reached her mother's house in Nashik when her husband started having vomiting scenes. But he didn't wanted to go to the hospital, so they called the doctor at home. However, when she woke him up at around 6 in the morning, he didn't wake up. She was quoted as saying:

“After we reached my mother's house in Nashik, he had vomiting and loose motions. He didn't want to go to the hospital so we asked the doctor to come home. When I went to wake him up at around 6 am in the morning (on Sunday), he was no more. The doctor there told us he passed away last night (on Saturday) in his sleep due to cardiac arrest."

Vikas' career over the years 

For those who don't know, Vikas started his acting journey in 2000s with shows like Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi, Sasural Simar Ka, Kasauti Zindagi Ki, Uttaran, Geet Hui Sabse Parayee, Gustakh Dil, and many more. He had even played Kareena Kapoor Khan's co-star in the hit film, Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham.

Vikas' personal life

For those who don't know, Vikas Sethi was previously married to Amita and participated in the fourth season of the dance reality show. However, they divorced bitterly after a few years. In 2018, he married Jhanvi, and they welcomed their twins in 2021.
