Vikas Sethi's sudden death left all his friends, family and fans in utter shock. People cannot decipher how a young man like him could suddenly have a cardiac arrest, which caused his death. For the unversed, Vikas was only 48 years old and survived by his wife, Jhanvi Sethi and two twin sons, who were born in 2021.
Jhanvi Sethi took to her Instagram handle on September 9, 2024, and shared a heartwrenching post for her husband, Vikas Sethi. In the post, Jhanvi shared about Vikas' death news with the masses and talks how greatly it has impacted her and the family. She revealed that his last rites will be conducted on September 9, 2024, as per Hindu traditions, and all his friends and families are requested to come. Along with the picture note, Jhanvi captioned the post as:

It is the most difficult experience for a mother to see her son on death bed, and the worst is happening with Vikas Sethi's mother. A video caught our eye on social media where Vikas' mother was seen crying as she held her son's dead body, and it broke our heart to see her in such a miserable state.
Many of Vikas' industry friends were present at the funeral to pay their last respects to the actor, and they seemed teary-eyed. Hiten Tejwani, Sharad Kelkar, and more were in attendance.

Vikas Sethi's career was a journey of passion and dedication. He stepped into the industry in the early 2000s and became a part of several hit shows, including Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi, Sasural Simar Ka, Kasauti Zindagi Ki, Uttaran, Geet Hui Sabse Parayee, Gustakh Dil, and many more. His portrayal of 'Robbie' in the cult hit Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham was particularly loved by his fans. On the personal front, Vikas married Jhanvi in 2018 and their joy knew no bounds when they welcomed twin boys in June 2021.
