It was on December 3, 2024, when Vinod and Sachin met at an event, and the former clutched his friend's him by urging him to sit beside him. Amid this video making rounds online, let us go back to a time when Vinod had revealed how he and Sachin had erased the differences between them by meeting each other at an event.

For the unversed, it was back in 2009 when Vinod Kambli had stated that Sachin Tendulkar, his childhood friend, could have saved his career, but he didn't. Reportedly, this statement didn't go well down with Sachin, and he distanced himself from Vinod. Well, it all ended at an event back in 2017, which was attended by both Vinod and Sachin. Talking about how they buried their hatchet, Vinod, in an interview with TOI, stated that he was very happy that he and Sachin were back together. The former cricketer also added that he and Sachin hugged it out at the event, and the former is very glad about it. In Vinod's words:

"Yes, everything is fine between us and I’m happy with it. We hugged each other. We want to tell people that we’re back. It was mutual, and I’m very glad about it.”

When Vinod Kambli expressed his hurt for Sachin Tendulkar not mentioning his name in his farewell speech

Vinod Kambli and Sachin Tendulkar's partnership dates back to their teens when they hit a record by making a partnership of 664 runs. Well, after Sachin was hurt by Vinod's statement, the latter was not invited or even mentioned in the Master-Blaster's farewell speech. It also was hurtful for Vinod, who later expressed his hurt over the same.

Talking about the same, Vinod said that he was hurt as he was thinking that his name would be a part of Sachin's farewell speech, as he thought their partnership was the turning point of both of their careers, wherein he thought he had a hand. Vinod could be quoted as saying:

"I am deeply hurt. I was expecting my name to be part of his farewell speech. If anything for our famous partnership. Its that world record partnership that was the turning point of our careers. That’s when everyone came to know who is Vinod and Sachin. I had a hand in that and our careers started from there. I thought he could have mentioned that part at least."

Well, Vinod first struggled to recognise Sachin, and after he did, he quickly clutched the Master-Blaster's hands and urged him to sit with him. Moreover, it was Sachin, who was in a hurry and left the place quickly. In another video that went viral, Vinod was singing the song, Sar Jo Tera Chakraye for the Indian coach, Ramakant Achrekar. Well, it was Sachin, who was seen clapping and cheering for his friend.
