Indian cricketer, Virat Kohli needs no introduction as he is the heartthrob of many people across the globe. Moreover, the former captain of the Indian cricket team is known for leading a luxurious life, and he often hits the headlines for the same.
On the personal front, Virat Kohli had got married to actress, Anushka Sharma, and the couple is blessed with a daughter, Vamika Sharma Kohli. The cricketer owns two palatial homes, one in Mumbai and the other one in Gurgaon, and both of these are lavish in every way. However, as per the latest reports, Virat and Anushka have bought a new farmhouse built in Alibaug.

According to a report in ETimes, Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma bought a lavish property on the auspicious occasion of Ganesh Chaturthi. The couple is getting a plush farmhouse built on 8 acres of land near Zirad in Alibaug. If reports are to be believed, the couple will be spending a hefty amount of almost Rs. 19 crores 24 lakhs and 50 thousand to get their hands on this lavish land. Moreover, a deposit of Rs. 1 crore and 15 lakhs has already been made to finalise the deal.
Virat Kohli along with his wife, Anushka, and daughter, Vamika, are currently in Dubai for the Asia Cup cricket tournament. Therefore, following Ganpati's Muhurat on August 30, 2022, Virat Kohli's younger brother, Vikas Kohli completed the transaction on his behalf through power of attorney. As per the reports, the transaction was done by a well-known real estate company, Samira Habitats.

The report also stated that Virat and Anushka visited Zirad to inspect the space six months back, and they instantly loved the property. However, Virat could not come to Alibaug to lock the venue, owning to his busy cricket schedule. Thus, his brother got the sale documents registered with the Associate Sub Registrar, Ashwini Bhagat, at Alibaug. Moreover, the family also deposited a stamp duty of Rs. 3 lakhs 35 thousand.
