If reports are to be believed, Virat Kohli's statue was unveiled at Times Square as part of a marketing campaign by the mattress company, Duroflex, which the cricketer endorses. However, the cricketer's fans were delighted to see the glimpses on the internet and showered praises on him. While some hailed him as GOAT (Greatest Of All Times), others mentioned that Virat deserves all the popularity and love that he has been receiving.

When Virat Kohli talked about his retirement plans

In an old conversation with his IPL franchise, Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB), at the Royal Gala Dinner, Virat Kohli spilled the beans on his post-retirement plans. Talking about the same, the cricketer said that he would take a long break after he was done playing cricket. He also suggested that he doesn't want to have any regrets as a sportsperson, after his retirement. Kohli was heard saying:

"I think as a sportsman, we do have an end-date to our careers. So I am just working backwards. I don't want to finish my career thinking, 'Oh, what if I have done this on that particular day?' because I can't keep going on and on forever. So it's just about not leaving any undone business behind and not have any regrets later, which I am sure I won't."

Virat Kohli's special wish for Anushka Sharma on her 36th birthday

Virat Kohli is not just an exceptional cricketer, he is also a loving husband to his wife, Anushka Sharma. On May 1, 2024, Anushka turned 36 years old, and her husband, Virat shared a special wish for her on his Instagram handle. The cricketer posted a series of pictures of the love of his life from their stay in London. Anushka looked as gorgeous as ever in the unseen pictures and was also seen having a gala time as she explored the streets of London.
