The team was welcomed with great enthusiasm by all the cricket-loving people, and the entire nation awaited to celebrate the T20 World Cup win with the team. After an hours-long victory parade, the team went to Wankhede stadium, where they unleashed their inner child and celebrated the WC win with all their mirth.
Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli, along with the entire team, made victory laps of the Wankhade stadium, where they unleashed their inner child and sang at the top of their voices. Later, the whole team, including Jasprit Bumrah, Hardik Pandya, Yuzvendra Chahal, Kuldeep Yadav, and more, danced on the track, Vande Mataram as they sang and flaunted the hard-earned cup.

The moment when the players, along with the crowd, sang Vande Mataram and danced with their arms flung was a patriotic gesture that resonated with the audience, enough to give goosebumps even to a grown adult. While Yuzi and Kuldeep took turns holding the trophy, Kohli was seen leading the team with the India flag wrapped around him.
Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma further entertained fans by showing their dance skills when the DJ played the track from Chak De India at Wankhede Stadium. The entire team remained in a jubilant mood as they joined Virat and Rohit to dance together during the victory lap at Wankhede Stadium. The fans, filled with excitement, cheered on as the team celebrated their journey to World Cup success, a journey they have been celebrating since they arrived in Delhi earlier on Thursday morning.
