Five days after their baby's arrival, Anushka and Virat announced the birth of their son, Akaay, which left their countless fans super happy. And while the mumma, Anushka, is busy nursing her newborn baby, Akaay and recovering from the delivery, the dotting daddy, Virat, is making sure to take care of their daughter, Vamika.
On February 26, 2024, Virat's fans shared a picture of Virat with his daughter, Vamika. The father-daughter duo was enjoying their lunch together at a cafe. While Vamika looked busy eating her food, the daddy dear was checking his phone. However, another highlight of the picture was how grown-up Vamika looked. She was seen donning a navy blue and white striped sweater with her long hair tied in a ponytail.

Anushka Sharma chose a unique name for her second child. She named her son, Akaay, which is a gender-neutral name. It is originated from Turkish, and it means shining moon. However, in Sanskrit, it means without a form or body. Coming to Anushka Sharma's baby arrival announcement, she shared a picture note on her Instagram handle. In the picture note, Anushka revealed that her daughter was blessed with a baby brother on February 15, 2024. Her note could be read as:
"With abundant happiness and our hearts full of love. We are pleased to inform everyone that on 15th February, we welcomed our baby boy, Akaay, and Vamika's little brother into this world. We seek your blessings and good wishes in this beautiful time in our lives. We request you to kindly respect our privacy at this time."
