Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor's surreal wedding left a lasting impression in the hearts of their fans. Their low-key subtle themed wedding became the talk of the town. After a few years of dating, Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor tied the knot back in 2022. And in the same year, they welcomed their cutesy baby girl, Raha. While the couple hasn't yet released their wedding video, recently, the famous wedding videographer, Vishal Punjabi shared that he turned down the couple's request to document their wedding for a specific reason.
Vishal Punjabi worked for famous celebrity couples like Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh, as well as Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma. These couples' wedding videos were so soothing that people were compelled to shed happy tears. However, in a recent interview on Shivani Pau’s podcast, Vishal added that he had to turn down Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor's offer.

The wedding videographer shared that Alia and Ranbir approached him to document their wedding, but it was only two weeks before their actual wedding. Vishal said a lot of celebrities ordered him for their wedding only a few days ago, as they want to keep the celebrations hush-hush. Vishal said:
"I wasn’t available when Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt called me for their wedding. A lot of these celebrities call me two weeks before their wedding because its hush hush and nobody can know.”
Sharing the reason why he had to turn down Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor's offer, Vishal Punjabi said he couldn't manage it, as he already had a project in London, and the bride was extremely beautiful, and it was a wonderful experience. He also remarked if he would be able to document Alia and Ranbir's wedding, the couple would surely get a wonderful wedding video. Sharing that he wouldn't miss the London wedding, for the world even now, Vishal added:
"The downside is… I am not available for most of them. I have never cancelled a wedding to cover a celebrity’s wedding. I didn’t do Alia and Ranbir’s wedding because I was booked to do a wedding in London for a very beautiful, lovely bride. I wouldn’t change that for the world even now. She was gorgeous, and it was a beautiful experience. Ranbir and Alia would have gotten a nice wedding video.”
Vishal Punjabi is a famous name, and he is the CEO of the Mumbai film production company, The Wedding Filmer. He worked earlier at Shah Rukh Khan's production house, Red Chillies Entertainment. The filmer was born in Accra, later, at the age of 10, he moved to London to pursue his educational degree.

Later, besides trying his hands at movies, he also directed and produced advertisements for famous companies such as Pepsi, Hero Honda, Hyundai, ICICI and ITC among others. His work on Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh's wedding video left people in tears. Virat and Anushka's wedding film was also his creation, and it has a separate fanbase.
