Way before we lost our hearts to Shah Rukh Khan's wide-open arms, the King of Romance had already lost his heart to his Queen, Gauri Khan. Finally, on October 25, 1991, Shah Rukh and Gauri had tied the knot as per Hindu rituals. As per a TOI report, Shah Rukh and Gauri had three marriages. First, the lovebirds had registered their marriage, which was followed by nikaah on August 26, 1991, and finally, a Hindu wedding ceremony on October 25, 1991. Since then, Shah Rukh and Gauri have proved at every step of life that if behind every successful man, there is a woman; then behind every successful woman, there is a man too! Over the years, Gauri had created a niche for herself in the designing industry as she had ventured into the world of interior designing and is now a high-end designer par excellence.
With the release of Fabulous Lives of Bollywood Wives and Gauri Khan announcing that she will be gate-crashing the second season of the show, Shah Rukh Khan’s close friend, Viveck Vaswani shared a throwback picture of newly-wedded Mr and Mrs Khan. Hinting at Fabulous Lives of Bollywood Wives in the caption, Viveck posted a rare picture of Shah Rukh and Gauri posing with King Khan’s sister, Shehnaz Lalarukh Khan. In the picture, Gauri flaunted her newly-bridal look in chooda and jewellery accentuating her black t-shirt and denim. Viveck captioned his post as "Much before Bollywood, before terms like Bollywood wives were coined, the home was Dalamal Park and mom was mom! There were warmth and unconditional acceptance! Here is Mom with Shahrukh, Gauri, Lalarukh and moi! #roots #friendship #mom."

For the unversed, during the initial days of his career, Shah Rukh Khan had lived at actor-producer, Viveck Vaswani's home and since then, they are closest of friends. In a throwback interview with the ETimes, Viveck had revealed that he is very much in touch with Shah Rukh. He had stated, "We chat on the phone at 2 am. That's the time when we're both wide awake. He jokes and says, 'Give me your Sindhi acumen'. He has several responsibilities- his acting, his production house Red Chillies Entertainment, his VFX work, his KKR team and his charity. He's so busy, every single day. Plus life has changed a lot, these days. Like for one, I am also running up and down so much with regards to my work at the school of media where I am the dean.”
Walking down the nostalgic lane and recalling how Shah Rukh Khan didn’t want to act initially, Vivek Vaswani had said in an IndianExpress.com interview, “He didn’t want to act in movies initially. He stayed with me because he didn’t have a house then. When I asked him if you would like to act, SRK said, ‘No, I can’t think of anything worse. It’s only after his mother passed away that he decided to act in films. That’s when we decided to make ‘Raju Ban Gaya Gentleman’ so that he would have a platform. I took him to meet a whole bunch of other producers who were able to sort of give him work. I was playing a very safe game because I didn’t want Raju to be his first film. You become a celebrity when your film is sold. ‘King Uncle’ and ‘Dil Aashna Hai’ may not have been very big important roles but these are roles that got sold as opposed to all the other rival competitors like Rahul Roy, Armaan Kohli who were doing solo hero films but not getting their movies sold or release. SRK slowly understood the business of films and the result is there for all to see.” (Also Read: Gauri Khan Gives A Never-Seen-Before Peek Inside Mannat, Shah Rukh Reveals What Makes Home Beautiful)
