As soon as Bollywood or telly land celebrities get married, the speculations arise about when will they start their next phase, parenthood. Rumours and speculations are these days a part and parcel of a celebrity's life. After Anita Hassanandani, Yeh Hai Mohabbatein fame actress, her co-star Divyanka Tripathi’s pregnancy rumours have started doing the rounds.
Like all the couples, Divyanka and her hubby Vivek Dahiya have always dodged such questions. But this time, Vivek clarified in an interview with the Hindustan Times, that they are not planning to start a family soon. Talking about the rumours to be untrue, he said, “These are just rumours. We’re not planning a family already. There are a lot of milestones that need to be achieved. We just want to be ready, I don’t think we’re ready right now.” (Also Read: What Divyanka Got As A Gift On Their Italy Holiday Is The Best Thing A Wife Can Get)
He also stated that it is time for them to focus on their respective careers and to grow in their field is the priority for them. He was quoted as saying, “The news came out that Divyanka was part of the Forbes list (2017 Forbes India Celebrity 100) and we were really happy about it. We aim to go higher. So, there’s a lot of motivation to keep pushing ourselves forward and achieve more. There’s a lot on our plate. I have things planned for myself career-wise.”
It is normal for celebrities to get upset or annoyed with such rumours doing the rounds about them. However, having an optimistic approach to it, Vivek retorted, “I take it very positively. I think all these people who’re concerned about us have become one big family. You know how there are people in your family... your dadis and your aunts... speculating about when shall we have a baby? [Fans] are almost as close to us as our family. They’ve been part of our journey from the start and they know exactly, step by step, about how we came together. They all do it in good faith and with lots of love.” He also added that his fans motivate him on dull days and he reads their messages to get pumped up. He remarked, “Some of [the fans] are really helpful. On a bad, discouraging day, they’d really motivate you. I’d read their posts and get so pumped up. It’s a great feeling.”
Vivek and Divyanka tied the knot on July 8, 2016, which was no less than a fairy tale wedding. Vivek is madly-in-love with his lady-love, and she said the sweetest thing about her. He talked about what he loves the most about his wifey, and said, "She manages her personal and professional life really well. That she does it beautifully and effortlessly. Sometimes I have to look out for her so that she gives some time for herself to sleep. She can compromise on all those things to balance it out. I feel guilty but it is not something that many would do for their partners." Sharing a picture on Valentine’s Day (February 14, 2018), Vivek posted the happiest picture of them, where the couple can be seen sharing a laugh. He captioned it as, "That face when I crack a PJ! #OurValentine".
