Vivian Dsena is one of the most sought-after actors in the television world. He made his acting debut in 2008 with the show, Kasamh Se, but the actor got wide recognition for his role as a vampire in the show, Pyaar Kii Ye Ek Kahani. His other notable works include Madhubala-Ek Ishq Ek Junoon, Shakti – Astitva Ke Ehsaas Ki and few other shows.
Vivian was one of the most loved actors in the TV world, with a huge fanbase. Apart from his professional life, Vivian’s personal life has garnered a lot of attention over the years. The actor got married to actress Vahbiz Dorabjee in 2013, but after a few years of marriage, cracks started appearing in their relationship. In 2016, they separated due to incompatibility and were granted divorce in 2021.
Do you know Vivian Dsena has converted to Islam? Yes, you read that right. The handsome actor, who was born in Ujjain to a Hindu mother and Christian father, converted his faith from Christianity to Islam. In a throwback interview, Vivian confirmed the news and said:
“Nothing much has changed in my life. I was born Christian, and I follow Islam now. I started following Islam during the holy month of Ramadan in 2019. I find a lot of peace and solace in praying five times a day. So, here I put all the unsought speculations to rest.”
Vivian’s conversion happened after his separation from his former wife, Vahbiz Dorabjee. There are multiple theories behind Vivian and Vahbiz’s separation. Reports were rife that post their divorce, Vahbiz has demanded Rs. 2 crore alimony from Vivian. Speaking about the same with HT Cafe, Vahbiz had shared:
“A wife can rightfully ask for 20% of her husband’s wealth but I don’t want to comment on what I have asked for or what he wants. I am surprised at these kinds of reactions as if this is the first celebrity couple divorce. Why are people so astonished about alimony?"
As soon as the news of Vivian Dsena confirmed the news of his conversion, many people speculated that the actor must have changed his name too. However, during an ‘AskVD’ session, when a fan enquired about the same, the actor responded:

In 2022, the actor got married for the second time to an Egyptian girl named Nouran Aly. The couple has a daughter, too.
