The patriarch of the Ambani family, Dhirubhai Ambani, got married to Kokilaben in 1955. Together, they weaved their beautiful paradise with their four children, Mukesh Ambani, Anil Ambani, Nina Kothari, and Dipti Salgaocar. There are no wedding pictures of Dhirubhai and Kokilaben available on any platform, here is a throwback sepia photo from the early days of their marriage.
Mukesh Ambani and Nita Ambani’s marriage was fixed by Dhirubhai Ambani, who was impressed by Nita after seeing her dance performance. For her wedding, Nita donned a traditional garment comprised of two sarees draped together as one. She wore a panetar saree, paying respect to her family and added a gharchola respecting her husband’s family. On the other hand, Mukesh donned a white bandhgala and pyjama along with a safa.
Anil Ambani and Tina Ambani met each other for the first time at a wedding. After a few meetings, they fell in love and got married on February 2, 1991, in a traditional Gujarati wedding. For the wedding, Tina wore a traditional Gujarati saree in white and red colour. She looked stunning in matching jewellery and glam makeup. On the other hand, Anil wore an ivory-hued sherwani.
The youngest child of Dhirubhai Ambani and Kokilaben, Deepti Ambani, married Duttaraj Salgaoncar, a Goa-based businessman, on December 31, 1983. This was the first wedding for the Ambani family. After their wedding, they moved to Goa and became parents to Isheta Salgaoncar and Vikram Salgaoncar. Mukesh Ambani and Nita Ambani’s darling daughter, Isha Ambani, got married to businessman, Anand Piramal on December 12, 2018. For her wedding, Isha wore an ivory-hued lehenga from the designer duo, Abu Jani Sandeep Khosla. Isha included her mother, Nita Ambani's wedding saree as a major part of her wedding attire as she wore Nita's 36-year-old wedding saree, as her dupatta and teamed her look with diamonds from head to toe. After Isha Ambani’s wedding, her twin brother, Akash Ambani got hitched to his childhood sweetheart, Shloka Mehta, on March 9, 2019. For the wedding, Shloka looked ravishing in an all-red avatar and kept her makeup minimal. She opted for a red and golden-coloured lehenga, which she complemented with jewellery, including a heavy kundan necklace, maatha patti, nath, and traditional earrings. On the other hand, Akash looked handsome in a cream-toned sherwani.
Arjun Kothari is the nephew of Mukesh and Anil Ambani. Son of Mukesh and Anil’s sister, Nina Kothari, Arjun tied the knot with Anandita Mariwala, daughter of industrialists, Anjali and Rajen Mariwala (of Marico Industries), on November 19, 2019. Earlier, Tina Ambani shared a few pictures of Arjun and Anandita from their wedding festivities on her social media handle.
The elder son of Anil Ambani and Tina Ambani, Jai Anmol Ambani, got married to his ladylove, Khrisha Shah, on February 20, 2022. For her wedding, Khrisha donned a red lehenga, which was heavily embroidered with floral patterns in silver resham and crystals. On the other hand, Anmol looked dapper in a cream-hued sherwani.
Dipti Salgaocar’s daughter, Isheta Salgaocar, married Atulya Mittal, founder of Nexzu Mobility, on July 9, 2022, at The Stone Park Estate in Buckinghamshire, London. For the wedding, Isheta looked gorgeous in a heavily embellished pastel pink lehenga, and Atulya looked dapper in a white bandhgala.
Deepti and Duttaraj Salgaocar’s son, Vikram Salgaocar, is the lesser-known cousin of Isha, Akash, and Anant Ambani. No information about Vikram’s personal life is available, but if reports are to be believed, he is in a steady relationship. During Anant and Radhika’s pre-wedding ceremonies, Vikram and his partner were pictured together.
Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant were introduced to each other by their mutual friends in 2017. Soon, they started dating, and Anant proposed marriage to Radhika at Shrinathji Temple in 2023. The duo had a Goldhana ceremony, followed by an engagement party at Antilia. In 2024, Radhika and Anant hosted a three-day-long pre-wedding weekend and hastakshar ceremony at the Ambanis’ hometown Jamnagar and another pre-wedding ceremony on a cruise. Now, they are all set to tie the knot on July 12, 2024.
