Aishwarya Rai Bachchan married Abhishek Bachchan on April 20, 2007, in Mumbai. For the unversed, the duo fell in love with each other on the sets of the film, Guru, which was released in January 2007. And soon, Aishwarya Rai became the 'Bachchan Bahu'. The couple hopped onto the parenthood journey with the arrival of their daughter, Aaradhya Bachchan, in November 2011, whom they adore immensely.
Aaradhya Bachchan is the apple of the eyes of the Bachchan family. She accompanies her mommy dearest, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, to various events around the world. Back in 2013, Abhishek Bachchan and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan sat together for an interview with Masala.com. The duo was asked about the cuisines they prefer as a couple and whether they like the food that’s prepared at home. Responding to the same, Aishwarya shared that she and Abhishek love Indian food and prefer home-cooked meals before anything else. She said:
"You might not believe this, but we both love only Indian food. In fact, we totally dig rich Indian food! Our food habits are simple – we enjoy having the typical roti-sabji-daal-rice combo. Moreover, we like home-cooked food. Indian cuisine is so rich and varied, we do not feel the need to try out Thai, Mexican, or Italian. We indulge in exotic cuisines only occasionally."
Aishwarya and Abhishek's daughter was just two years old back then. In the interview, when Aishwarya was asked, being a mother, how she planned Aaradhya’s food, she gave a beautiful reply. The actress mentioned that if she goes out for an event or shoot, she keeps her daughter's food and milk ready before she leaves. She added:

"As I mentioned before, Abhishek and I both prefer simple home-cooked food. You have known us for years, and you are aware that we are not into dieting. It shows on me too! Aaradhya, too, is being trained to eat ghar ka khana."
Aishwarya Rai Bachchan’s careful way of planning her baby's meals proves why she is a doting mommy to Aaradhya.
