Ajay Devgn has donned many hats in his over-three-decade career in Bollywood. From being an actor, and producer to a director, he has perfectly proved his versatility in the entertainment industry. But perhaps the movies which gave him much-deserved fame are the ones where Ajay Devgn played severe and intense roles.
What makes Ajay look different on the silver screen are his burning eyes, which speak a thousand words more than any cringe-filmy dialogue. However, the actor, who looks rough and challenging from the outside, fears lifts. Yes! You heard it right. And in an early interview, he had revealed the reason behind the same.

Earlier, Ajay Devgn had graced Kapil Sharma’s comedy show, Comedy Nights With Kapil. During the heartfelt banter, Ajay had shared a horrifying incident from his past when he got stuck in a lift for more than an hour. He added how the lift had dropped from the third floor to the basement. Hence, the incident left a scar on his heart, and he avoids lifts since then. In his words:
“Once I was in a lift and it came hurtling down from the third or fourth floor to the basement. We were stuck inside the lift for more than one and a half hours.”
We never get over some ugly incidents as the memories keep horrifying us. Something similar had happened to the Drishyam 2 actor as he developed a persistent fear of elevators. In the same conversation, Ajay mentioned how he has the fear of being enclosed and still opts for stairs and not elevators. He had said:
“I feel claustrophobic in the lift ever since. I have stopped taking lifts since then and I only take stairs.”

On the personal front, Ajay Devgn is married to the gorgeous actress, Kajol. They are parents to Nysa and Yug. In an old conversation, the actor had stated the secret of maintaining a happy married life. Revealing how he manages through the ups and downs in his marriage with Kajol, he had said:
“It’s sustaining very well. Though there are ups and downs in every marriage, disagreements. But you have to manage those disagreements… Two minds can’t be alike but then we discuss and that how it works.”
