Born to late Taj Mohammed Khan and his wife, Lateef Fatima Khan, Shah Rukh Khan is one of the most exceptional actors Bollywood has ever had. Despite coming from a middle-class family, SRK dreamt of making it big in the film industry and turned his dream into reality. His journey from being a commoner to becoming the biggest star in Bollywood is an inspiration to millions, and it's the reason behind his humbleness.
Once in a throwback interview with Parent Circle in 2018, Shah Rukh Khan talked about his childhood days and revealed how his mother fed him with her own hands till the age of 25. Reflecting on the same, the actor mentioned that he still looks ridiculous while eating with his hands. He said:
“When I was a kid, I always wanted to grow up, and now that I am old, I really miss my childhood. I think it’s the best time of our lives when we are so carefree. I remember my mom used to feed me with her own hands for the longest time — until I was about 25. So, I am still ill at ease eating with my own hands. I look ridiculous!”

Talking about his father and his love for food, the actor mentioned that he was fed Mughlai and Deccani food in his childhood. He recalled how his parents would mix traditional food and feed him and added:
“I have grown up on Mughlai and Deccani food. See, my father was a Pathan, and their love for food is legendary. My father loved not just eating, but also cooking. So my Pathan father's raan would make a perfect combo with my Hyderabadi mother's mutton biryani and the khatti dal. My parents used to mix these and feed me."
Shah Rukh Khan is a talented chef, who, time and again, shows off his culinary skills on his social media handle. Further in the interview, the actor had added how he loves to bake pasta and cookies for his kids, Aryan, Suhana and AbRam, and mentioned that he can make tea and phulkas as well. In his words:
