When Sunny Deol Revealed How His Link-Up Rumours Impacted His Wife, Pooja Deol, 'I Don't Know If...'

Bollywood actor, Sunny Deol is well-known for his anger and quick temper both on the silver screen as well as in real life. Apart from that, he always hits the headlines for his personal life, as he made many women fall in love with him. When Sunny Deol reacted to his link-up rumours with many actresses

In an old ITMB interview from 1984, Sunny Deol opened up about his take on the baseless rumours regarding his love life. Back then, the actor was linked to many beautiful divas. When Sunny was asked about his reaction to the reports of him being romantically linked to various actresses, he replied:

“Well, such things happen, it’s part of the game.”

Sunny Deol revealed whether rumours about his love life impacted his wife, Pooja Deol

With his casual response, Sunny Deol confirmed that he doesn't get affected much by his link-up rumours. When he was asked if those reports ever reached his then-fiancee and now-wife, Pooja Deol, Sunny replied that he didn't know about that. Sunny added:

“I don’t know if it reaches her. There’s nothing like that.”

In the same interview, Sunny was inquired whether the rumours about him dating Amrita Singh made him angry, and he gave a playful response. Reflecting on the same, he shared that before entering the film industry, he knew what people write, so he prepared himself to endure all this. However, Sunny added that sometimes, when people write absurd things, he feels angry. In his words:

“Picture line join karne se pehle dekha hai maine log kya likhte hai, toh ye sab kuch sehna padta hai. Gussa aata hai kabhi kabhi jab woh kuch zyada he utpatang likh dete hai, toh fir koe mila toh usko pakadke maar dena, aur kya karna?"

For the unversed, Amrita Singh made her Bollywood debut with the 1983 film, Betaab, opposite Sunny Deol. According to multiple media reports, Amrita and Sunny came quite close to each other during the shooting of the film, and the actress was totally infatuated with Sunny. Soon, their affair started, and the duo became the talk of the town. However, Sunny had kept his marriage with Pooja hidden from Amrita, which led to an abrupt end of their romance.

Sunny Deol and Dimple Kapadia's secret affair

For the unversed, not many know that Sunny Deol has been head over heels in love with Dimple Kapadia for decades. The alleged couple didn't let anything come in between their romance, despite their marital status. If reports are to be believed, Sunny also gave Dimple the status of his second wife at many social gatherings initially, but now they prefer to keep their affair a secret. Sunny's wife, Pooja Deol was reportedly unhappy with his brewing romance with Dimple and even threatened to leave him and his house along with their two sons, Karan Deol and Rajveer Deol. So, Sunny decided to stay with his family while dating Dimple secretly.
