Sai Pallavi will be next seen in Nitesh Tiwari's directorial movie, Ramayana. Along with her, Ranbir Kapoor and South's superstar, Yash will be seen in lead roles. A few days back, pictures from their film's sets went viral, wherein Sai Pallavi and Ranbir Kapoor were donning costumes exclusively prepared by the ace designers, Rimple and Harpreet. Thus, here are a few anecdotes from Sai Pallavi's life which are unknown to many of us.
As per multiple reports, Nitesh Tiwari's Ramayana has a massive budget of Rs. 500-600 crore. The movie also marks Sai Pallavi's debut in Bollywood, wherein she will play the role of 'Sita'. According to a report in Koimoi, the actress is thus charging three times her regular fee for her Bollywood debut. The diva will be getting Rs. 6 crore per film, and Nitesh Tiwari's Ramayana will be made in three parts, depicting Lord Ram's journey from birth to marriage to exile. Thus, it totals her remuneration to Rs. 18-20 crore. Currently, she charges Rs. 2.5-3 crore per Telugu movie if reports are to be believed. Although Sai Pallavi is putting her best foot forward for the upcoming film, Ramayana, her portrayal of the character ‘Sita’ was once strongly criticised. Earlier, there were reports that Alia Bhatt would star as ‘Sita’ alongside her husband, Ranbir Kapoor’s character ‘Ram’. However, reports soon surfaced on social media that Sai Pallavi was roped in the role of ‘Sita’, and now it has been confirmed by the glimpses from the sets.
However, when the report surfaced in the media, several social media users, who were unhappy with Sai Pallavi being cast as ‘Sita’, stated that she was not that attractive to play the part. A few others also suggested the names of actresses who, according to them, were a perfect fit for the role. However, many of her fans also rooted for her simplicity and pure beauty.

Sai Pallavi is one of those actresses who belongs entirely outside the industry. She completed her education at Avila Convent School, Coimbatore, and then studied at Tbilisi State Medical University, recognised by MCI (Medical Council of India). In 2016, she completed her MBBS, and in August 2020, she also took her FMGE (Foreign Medical Graduate Examination) in Trichy. But despite being a doctor by profession, she entered the film business. Later, in February 2021, Sai Pallavi became the only actress to get shown on Forbes India's seventh annual list of 30.
Talking about Sai Pallavi's journey, it began right from her childhood. She was seen as a child artist in the films, Kashthooriman and Dhaam Dhoom before making her acting debut with Premam in an adult lead role. During her medical college vacation, she completed the shooting of her debut film, and after that, she returned to Georgia to resume her studies. However, after the film's release, she won the 'Best Female Debut' award in multiple award ceremonies. Gradually, the diva became extremely interested in films and became one of the most loved actresses in the South Indian film industry.

But even after receiving several awards for her acting skills, she didn't get completely thrown away by the industry's beauty standards. From not wearing any makeup and flaunting her natural skin onscreen to wearing sarees at each of her award shows, Sai Pallavi made it clear about her limitations. Moreover, she also once rejected a deal of about Rs. 2 crore to do a commercial for a fairness cream.
Once, Sai Pallavi opened up about one of her childhood memories of writing a love letter to a boy in class 7. During a conversation with the YouTube channel, My Village Show, in association with Netflix, the actress walked on the memory lanes and shared a cute anecdote from her childhood. She talked about writing a love letter to a boy when she was in class 7 and what happened afterwards. However, she revealed that her parents soon caught her and hit her badly. Laughingly sharing the same, the actress mentioned:
“In this film, I wrote them as per the director’s instructions. But in real life, I wrote a letter just once. I wrote a letter to a boy, it was in my childhood. Maybe when I was in my 7th standard. I was caught. My parents hit me hard, a lot.”
Sai Pallavi prefers to keep her personal life private. However, according to a report by Astro Ulagam, she once talked about her decision not to marry anyone. The actress clearly stated that if she were to get married to someone, she would have to leave her parents, and it is something that she isn't capable of. Thus, she wants to take care of her parents and not settle with someone at the moment.
But a few months ago, she grabbed all the headlines when news of her alleged wedding with a Tamil filmmaker, Rajkumar Periyasamy, surfaced on social media. Following this, she broke her silence on the same and mentioned it was from the muhurat ceremony of Sai’s film, SK21, which was directed by him. Moreover, the original picture has several other cast and crew members, not just the two of them.
Well, we are simply amazed by Sai Pallavi's unknown anecdotes from her life. What about you? Let us know!
