For the unversed, a few years before Yuzvendra Chahal started dating Dhanashree Verma, he was linked to an entrepreneur. Speculations were around that Yuzvendra Chahal might have been dating entrepreneur, Tanishka Kapoor. It all began when the duo was reportedly spotted with one another, and the cricketer would comment and like on Tanishka's posts. Reportedly, the duo parted ways after a few years of being together.
Yuzvendra Chahal addressed the buzz during one of his interviews with TOI. He dismissed all the buzz and stated that he happened to read the writings about him and Tanishka for months, and there's no iota of truth. The cricketer mentioned that he has been reading all these write-ups but it's not true. He said that he and Tanishka are best of friends, and people often end up speculating about their personal lives when they simply go out with someone, but he got tired of these. He also mentioned being frustrated about Taniksha getting called or pinged with the same reports for months. In Yuzi's words:
"For the past 4-5 months, a lot has been written about Tanishka and I. I’ve read so many articles, but the truth is that we are very good friends. You know how people speculate if we go out together — they think that we are dating. But that’s not true we are best friends. I am really tired of this. Every day there is a new article and people have been calling her, and have been sending her links to different articles."
Yuzvendra Chahal and Dhanashree Verma got married in 2020, and it was in 2022 when the speculations about their divorce began after the dancer dropped his surname from her IG handle. Well, Yuzi later dismissed the buzz and asked everyone not to fall into the trap of any kind of speculations about his and Dhanashree's marital life.
Much recently, it was noticed that the couple had unfollowed each other on social media handles, and some even assumed that they might have blocked each other as their likes on each other's posts weren't visible. Well, Yuzi deleted all the photos with his wife. Amid this, a TOI report revealed that the couple had decided to part ways and the divorce is 'inevitable'.
