Yuzvendra Chahal Seen With RJ Mahvash A Day Before His Divorce Hearing With Dhanashree Verma

Indian spinner, Yuzvendra Chahal and Dhanashree Verma have been on the news for quite some time because of their separation. His four years of marriage with Dhanashree ended on March 20, 2025, after the duo was seen at Bandra Court in Mumbai, where they were granted divorce. Amid all this, Yuzi was spotted at a park in Andheri on March 19, 2025 with his reported girlfriend, RJ Mahvash, a day before he headed to Bandra for the divorce hearing.

It was at 12 noon on March 20, 2025, when Yuzi and his ex-wife, Dhanashree, were seen at Bandra Family Court to hear their divorce case. However, before the same, on March 19, 2025, Yuzi was seen spending time with RJ Mahvash at a park in Andheri. He had worn a black hoodie, blue denim and a black mask. RJ Mahvash on the other side was seen wearing baggy pants and a simple black top. They stood next to each other and were busy on their phones.

As per a report by the ETimes, the Bombay High Court had given the direction to the family court to speed up their divorce proceedings as Yuzi would not be available because of his earlier commitments with Punjab Kings in the Indian Premier League 2025, which would start on March 22, 2025. Yuzi has reportedly earned Rs. 18 crore to be a part of the Punjab Kings Team, which made him the most expensive spinner in the IPL 2025.

RJ Mahvash and Yuzvendra Chahal's reported dating rumours

Yuzvendra and Dhanashree's marriage has been dissolved. The cricketer arrived an hour earlier at the family court and was then followed by Dhanashree. An earlier report by the New Indian suggested that Yuzi was seen at a hotel in Mumbai where he was hiding his face. Fans kept wondering who the mystery girl in a white shirt and baggy jeans was and thought it was RJ Mahvash.

RJ Mahvash and Yuzi Chahal were speculated to be dating when a snap from their Christmas brunch went viral in 2024. Yuzi had not celebrated Christmas with his then-wife, Dhanashree, but was seen with RJ Mahvash and his other set of friends. She had worn a red-hued sweater along with a black skirt and boots. Yuzi sat next to her, wearing a brown jacket.

Yuzvendra Chahal wears 'sugar daddy' t-shirt on divorce final hearing day with Dhanashree Verma

It was on February 5, 2025, when Dhanashree and Yuzvendra filed a petition before the Bandra Family Court seeking separation by the consent of the duo. It was granted to them after the cooling period of six months which is mandatory for every pair who files for divorce under the  Hindu Marriage Act. Chahal had grabbed the limelight when he came to the Bandra Family Court on May 20, 2025. He wore a black t-shirt that had a sarcastic quote on it. It was not clear if the message on the tee was a sarcastic remark for Dhanashree.
