Sonakshi Sinha made headlines when she married her longtime beau, Zaheer Iqbal. The couple married in a private ceremony on June 23, 2024. Since their marriage, the couple has painted the town red by sharing heart melting pictures together. Recently, Zaheer shared a new update from their marital life that has further impressed the fans.
Sonakshi and Zaheer took a brief vacation after their marriage and the former resumed her work to promote her film, Kakuda. The couple again jetted off for a second honeymoon. Recently, as the couple got some time off, Zaheer shared a picture on his IG and revealed that Sonakshi has been busy decorating their home in Mumbai.

In the picture, we can see Sonakshi pasting a wallpaper on a wall behind a bed in their home. Zaheer mentioned that Sonakshi was busy “Making it a home.” Soon after, the actress shared another picture of a newly decorated wall in their home. The wall was filled with personal and loving photos of the couple including the ones from their wedding. Sonakshi captioned it as:
"I've been busy.”
Sonakshi and Zaheer dated for seven years before they tied the knot. When she was asked if she witnessed any change post-marriage, the newlywed bride expressed her happiness in an interview with the Hindustan Times. The actress said nothing much changed in life but she is happy as she gets to live with her best friend now. In her words:
"It's great, actually, and that's the beauty of it. I was just thinking that nothing much has really changed in my life except that I get to live with my best friend now. And that's the most fun part. Other than that, it's been normal. That's what lovely relationships do—they don't make you change who you are. So yeah, life is great. He's lovely. I am a lucky girl.”
