Zeenat Aman was one of the most talked about Bollywood actresses in the 70s and 80s. Her impressive style, graceful approach, and versatile acting earned a loyal fan following. Zeenat was particularly popular for her modern and westernised roles in Indian cinema, which left an important mark on the minds of audiences. The Hulchul actress made her Instagram debut in February 2023. Since then, she has often shared beautiful pictures and details of throwback incidents from her career that have made headlines. Recently, the actress shared an IG post about solo parenting struggles that shed light on her life's hardships.
Zeenat Aman said she didn't lead a life of uninterrupted glamour and composure. Despite the people's perception that has lead a comfortable and luxurious life, the reality is opposite. The actress added that the work that came her way reduced over time, and her body aged. At that time, she was left lonely to feed her two children without support from her husband or siblings. For the unversed, Zeenat Aman married Mazhar Khan in 1985, who died in 1998. The couple has two sons, Azaan Khan and Zahaan Khan. Zeenat penned:
"But then came the fear of how to keep food on the table. With no husband to turn to, no sibling to lean on, and two helpless children to provide for, it was terrifyingly lonely."

Zeenat went on to add that she took up any work that came across her way. She was not left with the luxury of choosing the work. The Don actress had to travel long distances that often left her body in pain and stay in no-star hotels with unclean sheets. Also, she performed her songs in smelly halls and had to pose around for photo sessions. Zeenat even worked on teaching poise to learners and wrote columns to earn and feed her children as a single mother.
Zeenat Aman concluded her post's caption that she shared her experience for two reasons. Firstly, she believes that there is dignity in all labour. When it's coupled with persistence and luck, people can get over their difficult times. However, the actress has become picky in her work and doesn't take this situation for granted.

Zeenat Aman was last seen on Koffee with Karan season 8 with Neetu Kapoor. After staying away from the big screen for a long time, she will be seen in Bun Tikki, co-starring Shabana Azmi and Abhay Deol. The shooting for the film has wrapped up, it's produced by Manish Malhotra and directed by Faraz Arif Ansari.
