Popular television actress, Rashami Desai became a household name after her impressive acting spree in the TV show, Uttaran. Despite her bubbly smile and pleasing presence, the actress often becomes a target of trolling and body shaming. Nevertheless, Rashami always overlooked all the negativity by keeping her head high and remaining unbothered. As the diva made a dazzling appearance at her friend, Arti Singh's star-studded sangeet, she was criticised for her choice of outfit.
In a video that has now gone viral, Rashami Desai can be seen dressed in a shimmery rose-gold lehenga paired with a sultry blouse and a dupatta. However, the Bigg Boss 13 fame was seen struggling throughout her photo session, as she struggled to walk in her outfit. She can be spotted lifting her lehenga with both her hands and struggling to move around. Despite wearing a heavy lehenga and feeling discomfort, Rashami flashed her brightest smile at the paps while posing for the lens.

However, some netizens were quick to point out that the last hook of Rashami's blouse was open and they mocked her for the same. Not only that, but some social media users also body-shamed Rashami and passed negative remarks. A netizen commented, "No offence on anyone weight but why wear uncomfortable clothes when you can even hook the garment and walk uncomfortably." Another wrote, "Blouse fattne wali hai".

This is not the first time that Rashami has faced criticism for her sartorial picks. Earlier, the gorgeousness graced the red carpet of the Grazia Young Fashion Awards and got mercilessly bashed for her outfit. For the event, Rashami donned an all-black, body-hugging jumpsuit, featuring a cross-bow-styled deep neckline. Subtle makeup, gold hoops, and golden bangles added stars to her look.

In one of the videos doing rounds on the internet, Rashami was seen trying to hide her cleavage with her hand. She was clearly uncomfortable in her sexy outfit and was adjusting it again and again. Many netizens flooded the comment section of the post and poured a lot of hate and nasty remarks on Rashmika while schooling her for her sartorial pick. While a user wrote, ‘Why wear such clothes if u hv to cover with hands?’, another user commented, ‘bht hi cheap outfit h khud hi uncomfortable ho rhi hi’.

Rashami Desai was married to her Uttaran co-star, Nandish Sandhu. The couple, who tied the knot in 2012, parted ways within four years of their marriage in 2016. Since then, Rashami has been living the singlehood phase of her life to the fullest. Once, in an interview with ETimes, the actress opened up about her divorce and mentioned how the relationship would have worked if Nandish had given his 100 per cent. In her words:
"If Nandish had given his 100 percent to this relationship then nothing would have gone wrong. I have never had any problems with his female friends. I have never doubted him. I was busy with my travel and work. I did not know if he was dating someone or not. Even if he is, then he should enjoy. I wish good for his future."
