Shah Rukh Khan, the undisputed king in Bollywood, never skips a chance to win hearts with his exceptional acting skills. The actor often leaves his fans screaming at the top of their lungs with his excellent acting skills. He began his career with several series and stepped into Bollywood with the movie, Deewana. Well, ahead of purchasing his dream home, Shah Rukh bought another alishan home in Mumbai which was worth lakhs. And Mukesh Khanna recently revealed deets about the same.
On his channel, Bheeshm International, Mukesh Khanna called Shah Rukh Khan an exceptional actor and mentioned that he is always respectful towards his seniors. He also added that Shah Rukh Khan was still trying to make it big in the industry when he bought his first-ever home in Mumbai. Mukesh added that SRK had requested his film, Guddu's producer, Prem Lalwani, to pay the full amount to him in advance so that he could buy his home. Sharing how Shah Rukh Khan used to say that his film was the reason he bought his first home, Mukesh added:
"Shah Rukh was going to buy a house at that time, I have been told. He requested Prem Lalwani (producer) that you please pay me in advance, I want to buy a house. In those days, one could buy a house in Rs 34-35 lakh. The first house that Shah Rukh bought was purchased because of the money he made on Guddu. Lalwani did a very nice gesture and he gave Shah Rukh full payment in advance. Shah Rukh used to say that I have a house because of this film.”
Shah Rukh Khan bought his dream home, Mannat, in 2001, four years after being blown away by its charm. The now Rs. 200-crore property cost Shah Rukh a whopping Rs. 13.32 crores. The house was named Villa Vienna back then and belonged to the renowned businessman, Nariman Dubash.
After SRK purchased his dream house, his wife, Gauri brought life to it with her magical touch. During the book launch event of Gauri, SRK revealed that they couldn’t afford the charges of a designer, thus he suggested his wife should take up the responsibility of designing their house. Shah Rukh Khan also shared that his favourite part of Mannat is its library, which is his office too. The actor added that this place is quiet and he loves to spend time there. SRK added that he hadn't read most of the books in his library but there's a sense of intellect and sophistication.
After his film, Zero, Shah Rukh Khan took a big break, only to return with three back-to-back blockbusters, Jawan, Pathaan and Dunki. The actor's performances in the movies were incomparable. If the reports are to go by, he will be next seen in the movie, King alongside his daughter, Suhana Khan.
