In an interview to a leading newspaper, Sania Mirza claimed that it was love at “third” sight for her. She had met Shoaib Malik, a few times before, but the meeting lasted only a couple of minutes. It was only after Sania’s engagement to her childhood friend was called off, the couple started dating. This celebrity wedding was very controversial and many people opposed it since Sania being Indian and Shoaib from Pakistan. But despite all odds, this lucky couple tied the knot on April 12, 2010.
