Waheeda was Guru Dutt’s find and he brought her to Bollywood from Telegu films. His films made her a star and in turn, Waheeda lifted his films to another level with her acting and beauty. Guru Dutt fell in love with her and this ruined his married life. Waheeda found success with other banners and drifted away from him. Struggling with failure, both personal and professional, Guru Dutt went into depression and committed suicide.
